Must be seen by all who love Dickens. It captures the atmosphere of the time.
The story and characters are first class. It is an entertaining classic family film. It really catches the spirit of Christmas.

Highly recommended - there is no doubt 'Betty Grable - Pin Up Girl' is worth it, if only as a gift!
everything about this cd is 'classic' Grable! Catchy songs, upbeat happy melodies. No wonder Betty was such a hit in her time. I recommend this for any lover of old musicals. They just could not reinvent her style of singing today.

Captivating and true drama
A fascinating study and time piece of the period. Excellent acting all round. A great film. Raymond Massey is so believable as the main character. He bears an uncanny likeness to Abraham Lincoln. A film that should be seen to eduicate the young and old alike.
