First Android Phone
1 of 1 found this helpful After 5 years I've finally taken my first steps to leave the Apple ecosystem, after my trusty iPhone 5s' speaker failed. I consider the hardware of this phone spectacular value compared to the iPhone 7 I was about to buy (but the price and delivery time put me off).
The camera is great and I've managed to emulate pretty much the features that I'm used to from iOS. The software isn't quite as polished as Apple's and sometimes the experience can be a bit disjointed, particularly the notifications that don't show on the lock screen, and are slightly erratic when they do come through (sometimes they work, sometimes they don't - maybe something to do with Huawei's power management? There's a lot online about this).
Overall this represents good value for money and I'm pleased I've given Android a try.
