Fast delivery, great shape. As a geezer, I thought I had seen all the TV westerns as a kid, discovered this on cable - a terrific show and decent storylines. Henry Fonda’s presence doesn’t overpower Allen Case’s role as the deputy. Lots of fun. Thanks!

A solid text
I work for a publisher which received a review copy of this book. I liked it so much, I bought one on eBay. The maps aren't like those you'd get at AAA - they are stark "Joe Friday" "nuthin but the facts" style. Cities, rivers, and most importantly, railroad lines. Some of the map sections might have been better executed with some other reference points (like large industries being marked) but I wanted vintage railroad maps and this book has them.
The only technical problem is the shrink-wrapping.
Once unwrapped, the cover of the review copy from the publisher began to warp.
On the copy I bought, the bottom cover is warping (the exact opposite of the other office copy) - and it is counter-intuitive since the weight of the book is weighing down on the back. Well, it will soon be upright on a shelf at home.
Regardless, this gets two thumbs up from me.

A good read
Great nostalgia magazine. Missed this issue when it came out! Just about any pop culture topic from “back in the day” is covered by a great selection of writers.
