Avoid this book
Don't waste your time buying or reading this book. There is a sense of dishonesty running through the book, gaps running in the narrative, hiding their identity - needlessly, ridiculous(untrue) statements including about her own performance (as a doctor), hateful statements about men and how the NHS is a good place to work. There is an irrational defence of the dysfunctionalism; the NHS's dysfunctionalism! Far too much of the book is about her new baby.
Most of the book is about inanities; the mundanity of life.
I bought this book on the basis of it being very similar to the "Secret Barrister", being a window into the corruption and dysfunctionalism of Britain’s justice system. Or in the case of this doctor, then NHS. I was very wrong. There was no insight to be gained, into the causes of the problems of the NHS. Avoid this book as it provides wrong and misleading information about almost everything.
