Dock is a WFH winner!
1 of 1 found this helpful Adding the Show Mode Charging Dock took my Fire HD10 from shelved afterthought to a place of honor in my WFH office-in-my-dining room. When I first read about Show Mode, I figured it would be useful. But my case didn't support a standing position well and I didn't like the idea of more wear and tear on the power port. Enter the dock that keeps my HD10 charged, at hand, and easy to take away when my WFH day ends. It helps me keep my personal activities off my work computer and gives me a larger-than-my-phone screen for streaming audio, web use, and email.

Small and fast
An unfortunate laptop tumble from a coffee table claimed my prior Micro SD USB adapter. This item looked like it would replace the broken unit. Upon receipt, I tested it with a couple of cards I have. Each card was recognized exactly as expected. The units are small - barely wider than the USB port - but the portion that remains outside of the computer is large enough to grasp easily. Entry and removal of the card to the dongle is also easy - part of the card remains accessible when it is seated in the dongle.

Good budget mouse
For basic functionality, this unit handles all of my requirements admirably. On occasion, it seems to lag or stall when waking up my system - just a minor delay. The buttons work fine, but clicks are a little loud. Not a big issue in a noisy environment, but annoying at home while watching quiet movies or TV.
