Great product, I'm not sure how I lived without it.
I had wanted one of these ever since they came out, but since I already had a basic model, I couldn't justify the expense of an upgrade.
When Garmin bought out the Edge 800, it caused a drop in the price of used 705s, so I began to look for one.
This does everything I need from a cycle computer / GPS unit, and with the addition of a cadence sensor it is helping with my training.
The later Edge 800 is a touch screen device, and having a touch screen smartphone, I'm not sure that it's such a good idea for use when cycling. The buttons on the Edge 705 are much easier to use when riding, especially when wearing gloves, so I don't see the 800 as being an advance.
