It is not the most expensive but . . .
Good for the price.
It works, although the battery may require removing and replacing a few times until the display shows correctly.
I'm not sure why the batteries do not work every time but it should work for you eventually (Trial and error).
I got it to check the Air Con Temperature from the air vents in my car.
It read 32 deg on a sunny day (18 deg outside air temp) and dropped to 9 deg with the Air Con on. I had it clipped to the air vent.
The clip is not great as it is not that big and can slip off the vent.
It also comes with a sticky patch to fix it in place but I wanted it to be removable and connectable to check my wife's car also so I'm using the clip.
The light shows for around 5 seconds when you press the top button.
On mine I could not set the date, I could only set and see the year (but this could be just me).

Not a bad product
These Wall Elbows are easy to fit, drilling the holes was the hardest bit :-)
The price is not bad but toolstation might be cheaper.
Easy connection to the shower mixer valve but you will need 2 x fibre washers, not supplied with this elbow for the shower mixer connection. Worked first time with no leaks. They have a fair (not bad) chrome finish and look good when fitted.
I used the correct size spanner (not mole grips) to tighten the chrome nuts. If you are going to use mole grips wrap some cloth around the nuts first, enough cloth to avoid the teeth of the grips damaging the chrome.
