I have always used the pure product i.e. thick paste but its so messy after one use and marks your clothes, I decided to try the diluted liquid and I am delighted, it is easy to apply, less mess, lasts longer and still smells great. It leaves a nice shiny coating on the hooves too. 100% recommend
