Traditional bowhunters will appreciate the other benefits beyond light weight
I have used Alaskan Archery Supply "Grizzlystiks" from the very first generation. The concept of a true full length tapered shaft in a carbon construction has been a longtime dream for many traditional bowhunters.
Having shot wooden arrows in the past, in a tapered construction, nothing could be better than having a shaft married to the carbon arrow! It was a welcome innovation.
Now that the current offering, thanks to the union with Victory, I think they have finally perfected it.
These shafts check all the boxes! Built-in FOC, tapered design to provide for faster arrow recover from paradox, great looks, no longer does it burn the target thanks to the finish, one of the widest ranges of arrow spine in the business.
Oh, I almost forgot they are smaller in diameter than previous editions, though I am not a fan of micro diameter arrows these do what they say they do.
The downside for me personally are the "Insert/outserts." I prefer internal components, but on the up side there is no question that it protects the front end of the arrow from extreme impacts! An arrow that was already tough, now even more so!
They bareshaft as well as any arrows I have ever shot! My recommendation would be to use the old methods for determining the high-spine side of the shaft in order to make sure that side makes contact with your sight window. Not to single out the grizzlystiks, any arrow could benefit from such attention, if greater accuracy is your goal. Carbon, aluminum, or wood!
Thus far it seems to correspond with the logo on the shaft graphics. Mind have come to have the high spine side one either side of the arrow between the graphics. I will have to purchase an additional dozen or two before I trust using the graphics, but I am hopeful.
Additional note:
It is recommended that wraps be used prior to fletching. I don't use them, but I take particular care in arrow shaft prep prior to fletching. Duco-cement seems to exceed the other adhesives in gluing for me as I use feather.

You will do alright, and the price is right!
I am a longtime bowhunter. A thing I enjoy, as does my wife. Hunting has been greatly enhanced through the use of pop-up blinds, however they are not all equal. Having spent a large amount of the coin of the realm, it was refreshing to find serviceable, and economic offerings on the market.
Many are over priced, nearly impossible to get replacement parts, as well as difficult to deploy! Barronett has solved these difficulties. Depending on the model you are seeking, they are roomy, quiet, tough, and can stand anything short of tornado or hurricane winds!
This is my second one that I have purchased in the last year! Why am I buying more than one, simple, I hunt many different locations, my blinds are often left up throughout the season, and I hunt right up until January. Living in South Dakota, that means lots of wind, rain, and snow. Using treestands are great, but not in when the wind is blowing thirty plus miles an hour, with a wind chill of five below! Then I want something blocking the wind, and the Barronett serves the purpose very well!
Save your hard earned money, and by a Barronett, you will be pleased with your selection.......True Story!
