Very basic - and all the better for it; a belter of a machine!
2 of 2 found this helpful Very basic, and all the better for it. It only does two things: brew coffee and froth milk. There's no automatic timer; the function continues until you return the selector to the middle position. This means that you can alter the coffee dose and brew time to suit the coffee and your taste. I can't comment on the milk frother; I drink my coffee black!
Having spent many months researching espresso machines and not wanting to spend the earth I feared that I had left it too late to get hold of one of these little machines, but eBay came to the rescue and I'm delighted with it. I used to drink Americanos but I've been converted to double espressos by this machine!
I have no reservations in recommending it.

An excellent performance and production which I can thoroughly recommend
Winterreise was recently the subject of a Radio 3 'Building a Library' review. It wasn't the final recommendation but every time they played an excerpt from this recording I was struck by how good it sounded, so I backed my own judgement and bought it. It is an excellent performance and production which I can thoroughly recommend.
