Seems a good product
I don't have test equipment to test the actual capacity, but the battery does appear to last a lot longer than the original 3200mAh Samsung battery. Does it last 5780/3200 times as long? Perhaps it might. Very hard to tell.
I have only had it for two weeks, so I can't comment on longevity.

Expensive but does the job
Nicely made, but expensive. Worked first and every time.

Made to meet a price point
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this camera for a friend at their request. They are happy with it. This camera has automatic face detection to set the focus point and you see a white square around the face. Of course, usually the face is usually in the foreground but it is impressive to watch it work.
My objection to this camera is that in common with all (in my limited experience) small compact digital cameras, when you press the shutter release usually nothing happens, the camera decides that perhaps it is not in focus, or there is not enough light, or the slow computer and the equally slow autofocus motor need time to do their job or the camera is busy saving or processing the shot you took several seconds ago or whatever. So either no picture is taken or a picture is taken after a delay of say 1 second. It would help if the camera indicated why it was ignoring your instruction to take a picture.
When you are used to a high end film or digital SLR camera, where the shutter fires 50ms to 70ms after you press it, you will find the slow response time hopeless and very annoying. Fast shutter response is critical for images of people and moving objects. Of course a high end digital SLR will cost at least 10 times the price and 5 times the weight but is 50 times more satisfying.
Don't worry about the number of megapixels, consider the lens aperture, the ASA speed, the noise and above all, the speed of response to the shutter release button.
