makes skidding logs with an atv easy
4 of 4 found this helpful Used the skidder today for the first time. I had cut a large cedar tree in the Spring but towed a log of it only 50 feet as it was too hard to pull on the ground. Today, I hooked up the skidder and started pulling. I looked back as I thought the log had come loose. It hadn't but it was so easy to pull, even uphill. This is a great inexpensive tool for getting firewood size logs. I have a pin type hitch but a trailer hitch would be easier to hook up. you can hook up to about a 20 inch log but you would need to cut a shorter length to lighten the load. I will anyway. could very much use shield on inside of tires as have had logs rub on tires. I have found that my Rincon would overheat on hot days. Will pull in cooler weather from now on. Don't try to pull more than recommended for your machine. The fault is with my 2015 Rincon, not this skidder. It gets hot just idleing and the fan comes on. Poor design on the cooling system!

Money saver!
even had a cap to fit my L3301 Kubota tractor. Did not have a hole in my Radiator, just a loose hose. Well worth the money!
