could be an enjoyable holiday read....unless you are a train enthusiast
Some clever observations, some light humour, with a little history and politics mixed in...all that in the first three chapters. You probably need to be a train enthusiast or be fully undistracted to get into this book first time. I bought this to read a Book club so had a limited timescale to read it, but didn't find it the Bill Bryson of train travel I had hoped for. I will try again in the near future, but more likely on a holiday when I can take it onboard whilst relaxing.

Better for occasional use perhaps
Started out well…being lightweight they don’t tire out your arms. They stay sharp pretty well too. However after several months of use..regular, but not weekly, the pin has come out. The pincer action is often stiff. Perhaps the ‘lightweight’ description also applies to amount if use. Shame, I had high hopes for these branded loppers.
