Brokeback will break your heart....

I LOVE this film. Saw it at the cinema and immediately had to buy it on DVD, which I watched repeatedly until I lent my treasured copy to a friend who never returned it. I now own my second copy as I couldn't bear to be without it. The story is compelling and believable, thought-provoking and heartbreaking, whatever your particular orientation. The scenery is fabulous if you need to look away from the sometimes graphic main action, and the tale stays with you for days after the movie ends. A truly touching account of passion, obsession, and the ultimately destructive effects of fearing commitment in a climate of prejudice. Superbly acted and brilliantly directed, if this film doesn't bring a tear to your eye, I'll eat my cowboy hat!
