Great trimmer, edger and blower for the money.
This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my 20 vlt Black & Decker trimmer and blower. The trimmer is also an excellent edger and I was looking for an edger that had a wheel guide for very clean edging (Many of the trimmers on the market today do not have a wheel quide).The sturdiness and design is very good. My only negative is that the string advance is a bit awkward and the spool itself is small. The kit comes with an extra spool. I have not used it long enough to determine how often I will need to replace spools but I surmise that this might be the biggest negative to the trimmer. The variable output blower is very satisfactory and is lighweight and well balanced in the hand. The short battery life of the 20 vlt system is something to consider but I am able to use the blower for my driveway, sidewalks, deck and patio before requiring a charge. If you want the system for a lot of leaf blowing then the 40 vlt system is something you might want to consider. For the typical home this kit is perfectly adequate however.
