Garmin C510 GPS
5 of 5 found this helpful I bought this unit on behalf of my girlfriend who was a total technophobe.
I researches at of the units TomTom, Garmin etc, and one factor that stood out for me was speed with which a satalite signal is found. Many units suffer from slow signal acquisition especially in big cities such as London, Birmingham etc.
Did my research on Amazon, and bought it from eBay.
Unit has worked flawlessly and my gf is very happy with it. Only downside is the occasional mishap when the map data is wrong, but since all the main SatNav systems use the same map data, this applies to all models.
Unit is easy to use, loud and clear, display is excellent, visible even when the sun is bright. Will probably get one myself as my TomTom driven PDA is a little too fiddley.

Excellent drive.
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased from DABS, and the price was just too good to let it pass by. The drive is fast, small and quiet, and I use it for storing a backup of my personal data and music collection.
The only thing to note is that it is USB3, so the cable supplied is USB3, which has a slightly different end that plugs into the drive. So you cannot use this cable with non USB3 devices. Can be a slight problem if you leave cables all over the place!

Suberb Product
I'm a hardware guy, and give PC kit alot of abuse, as I am always connecting and disconnecting equipment. Have used lots of differing USB hubs. This product is by far the best I have ever used. Very well engineered, nice and solid feel, and it just works. Nothing more to say.
