A gift that keeps on giving!
When both of my brother's aging CDPs broke, leaving him with none, I stepped in and decided the C-7030 would make a fine and timely birthday gift. I'm happy to report that the unit, per aforementioned brother, is "very nice-sounding" and "crystal clear [with] a nice warmth to it." He has the C-7030 hooked up to a big Carver amp and IIRC some nice Velodyne speakers (with SW). Long, ago, the bro' found himself with an Associate's in Audio Engineering, so he is a kind of former expert on audio matters. He also reported the 7030 sounds excellent via its headphone jack. Oh, and the Open Box was great, as the unit was in top-notch shape. Delivery was right on time, too.

Easy On
Much easier to get on than the latex ones—key feature for me. Sizing is good (I do not have large hands).

Grinds coffee beans perfectly
1 of 1 found this helpful This grinder works well and it is fast...really just 5 or 6 seconds for a cup's worth of ground beans. Unlike my prior grinder, not much of the ground beans stick to the cover, making the cover very easy to clean. As with most grinders of this kind, the grinding part itself isn't detachable. I just rinse it out with a little detergent and water, then wipe. Not much sticks to the grinder basin, either...but you do have to wipe it out to get it really clean. Minor. Just have to wait and see how it holds up, but the price, hard to beat.
