Just about right.
I've been using a pair of QTX QR8K speakers of a friend for small gigs playing my ambient techno. The speakers are excellent for electronic music with sub-basses and crisp hi hats. So I bought my own pair.
There is a low buzz from both but it doesn't get louder when the volume is turned up so I'll accept the buzz as normal for cheap pa speakers. I do like them for my music at gigs of up to 60 people.

Too expensive.
I couldn't find medicated Chapstick in any of the supermarkets so paid about £3 each for a couple on this supplier. I love the menthol smell.
Then I found the exact same product in the local Saver shop at £1 each, so I feel I paid through the nose.

Really is solid brass
I bought it to cut up to make a resonance mass weight for my saxophone, it is solid brass and good for the job.
