just right
it measured right up with factory. I have purchased the cheaper kind and they did not work well. you must measure them side by side to see that they are the same height in length. other wise if the replacement is taller it will grind against the flywheel. I found this out the hard way. ant this replacement comes with the ball inside of, so watch out for that. that's a good thing, but I found out the hard way, so I had to pull the starter out again and remove the original ball. other than that a good product for the price. I would recommend it. better than buying the whole starter.

the CORRECT part
this is the exact drive I need. there are other makes that do not work properly. this is the factory drive and I recommend you use this exact PN.
