  Slightly thicker than expected and I am happy with them. The grippy coating has lost its grip and cracked in several places (where my fingers bend) after wearing them while watching telly to get used to them. This is in keeping with their true age. Although New in the sense of being unworn, technically as described, they've been around for a number of years, which I knew. The condition is as expected and acceptable at that price point.
