A clearer, more transparent humbucking pair of pickups that won't break the bank.

I have bought Vanson Pickups before and have found them surprisingly good value. This pair replace a USA made pair that did not sit well tonally in a 1980s Tokai SG guitar. These pickups sit closer to the sound characteristic range I was aiming for in my mind's 'ear'. The bass notes being freer of the phase distortion found in most lower output humbuckers, the whole range of tones being clearer. As the sound engineers say 'you can easily add dirt to a clean sound but it's much harder to clean up a dirty sound'.

An ideal replacementformy DeArmond M75T pickup selector toggle.

I bought this product to fit my DeArmond M75T. It is similar to the original unit which failed after15 years service. I replaced it with an open frame unit which failed in 5 years due to accretion of dust on the terminals. I prefer the closed type you supplied because it fits better in the space available and does not attract dirt on the contacts which degrades the signal. It is also easier to wire in.
