Autosol Leather Treatment, good stuff.
I didn't know Solvol Autosol made leather treatment but I bought a tube as the product description said it had a MATT finish. After many years of cleaning and treating my motorbike leathers they had become shiny, I wanted to tame the gloss finish.
I applied a single thin coat using a sponge and was surprised and delighted the leather was now a classier satin finish and felt soft, great for the first treatment. I believe further coats will dull the finish even more bringing it closer to the original matt finish when they were new.

Homcom tool bag.
I wanted a lighter tool bag to take the place of my indestructible but heavy tool case and this fits the bill really well, I have transferred over all the tools and have the luxury if required to carry my laptop too just by leaving behind my soldering iron.
As with every tool box I have had I made a few modifications to make sockets and screwdriver bits more accessible.

Proper Motorbike Jeans
RST 2002 Tech Pro motorcycle jeans.
These are AAA rated motorbike jeans, and look like motorbike jeans not casual jeans. The stretch panels above the knees and at the back below belt level ensure comfort even if riding a sports bike, elastaine in the denim also helps. The narrower leg keeps the Level 2 knee armour just where you need it. The denim is reinforced with Cordura so will resist abrasion far longer than standard material, this is backed up with Kevlar panels in the critical areas, backside, knees and hips where there are more Level 2 armour inserts. The knee armour can be set set in three positions for best fit. There is a mesh lining to help regulate temperature and reduce the chance of skin shear if you have a spill.
These are really comfortable jeans on and off the bike, I don't find the armour used intrusive as it is softer than many other types.
If I had a criticism, it would be that there isn't a connection zip to fasten to a jacket, a short Oxford belt connector would make attachment to most jackets possible, but the belt loops don't line up unless you cut two more holes in the connector leather, I have done this but be careful :-). RST make a long belt connector to attach to their jackets, but they are hard to come by.
Size wise they are very generous, I am a 36" waist and the jeans I bought are 34" and are still an easy fit.
I bought these used from Layer8_motorcycle_clothing who were very helpful in checking the waist size for me and sending them next day delivery, many thanks to Steve. Even at full price I would say they would be good value for money due to the potential protection they provide, comfort and quality of materials.
