Bose QuietComfort 2
I had previously owned Sennheiser NoiseGuard phones and used them primarily for air travel. The problem with them was that they became uncomfortable after a couple of hours as they fit on the ear. The Bose however fit over the ear and are really comfortable over prolong use (4-6 hours). The sound reproduction is first class as is the noise reduction. The only minor niggle is that the volume achievable with my Ipod is slightly too low for my liking. I think the price for them new is excessive but a good second hand pair on Ebay proved a real bargain.

Poor at picking up fluff
This seemed like good value but compared with the John Lewis ones I gave used before they were very poor at picking up fluff and animal hairs off woollen clothing.

Genuine part good price
Took 10 days to arrive but I think that was due to abnormal circumstances and I was aware of the delivery date. It looks like a genuine part with Audi logo and part number. It is only the inner so you need the original outer cover to be able to fit it but its only a few minutes work. Hope its as durable as the original as that lasted 6 years.
