Kingston Data Traveller USB stick
0 of 1 found this helpful I chose this USB stick over other designs due to the slim design. The USB sockets on my laptop are close together and using a bulky stick would block the adjacent port. This width on this version is less than that of the USB port, allowing the adjacent sockets to be used.
It does not come with a dust cap, but the build quality is excellent and I am happy to recommend it.

Neutrik NC3FX XLR connector
Industry standard connector with many variants, used for professional audio. This version (NC3FX) is a 3 pin female cable mounted socket. The conductor connections are made by soldering. The whole assembly fits together without the use of screws, allowing straightforward termination. They are solidly built and will probably outlast the equipment they connect to. The design has been widely copied, an indication of how good it was. The manufacturer has recently tweaked the design, but as they have to meet the industry standard they are all compatible so no issue.
