Great hot swap storage for a really great price
The sleds seem a little flimsy, but as soon as hard drive is attached they are just fine.
I've had one running for over 3 months with no issues. No random disconnects, no issues with software raid, and great speeds - drive controller is direct control over the drive without interference from the cage.
I bought a large Rosewill case without the hotswap cages, and have slowly over the last year turned the $120 case into it's more expensive bigger brother on my budget terms.
No issues at all and highly recommended.

I love the piece of mind
I love the piece of mind knowing that I will know if smoke or co2 is sensed in my house. Three children (one teenager) are left home occasionally and I like knowing if they so much as burn toast when I'm not home.

First Day - thoughts
No louder than any of the other 11 drives in the array.
Seems just as fast as any of the other manufacturers drives - I've got a decent mix in the 12 drive pool.
I was down a drive and so had no time to test this out more thorough. I said, whatever, and threw it into the cage.
Checking on the stats now, it's not running a whole lot warmer than any of the other drives, like 3 degrees celsius, sitting at 30 right now having been running pretty hard for the past 6 hours. It came packaged great as well.
Wondering out loud if maybe there are issues with heat in other cases than there are in my Rosewill hot swap cage and maybe that's what other people are finding ?
If it flops out in under 30 days, it'll be refundable - and for $60 with taxes and shipping, if it lasts 60 days, that's a dollar a day and saved my wounded RAIDZ1 pool.
I'm happy.
