Gave it a shot.
Power works, spins the disc, doesn't read it. There's a 'beep' when you turn the power on or off, but you press the forward or back buttons and the track number changes, but no sound. The colon in the time view flashes, but no numbers ever start counting, not even "00:00". Tried regular cd's, recorded cd's, mp3 cd's, no change. But the power cord and cassette adapter both work, I can use the power cord with other devices, and a rechargeable mp3 player that works with the cassette adapter, so at least I'm not limited to broadcast radio in my truck.

Sci-Fi Mick Jagger action cheese-fest!
Hollywood's ideas of what the future and technology will look like are always way off, and we're currently ten years past when this story takes place(2009). Ignore the cheese, and it's kind of a fun ride. It's a sci-fi action flick where Mick Jagger abducts Emilio Estevez from the past just before he was going to die in a fiery crash. Rene Russo as the love interest and Anthony Hopkins as the big bad. Make a big bowl of popcorn, lean back on the couch, and press play!

Cherry Pitter
A local grocery had an upcoming ad with cherries for 1.49/lb. Ordered this cherry pitter that night, received it with two days left on the ad! Bought a big bag of cherries, washed them, and pitted about a pound in just a few minutes. Small and medium cherries work great, larger ones tend to stick in the bowl, but if that's the worst it can throw at me, I'm still way ahead of the game. A big bowlful to munch on, and the rest of the cherries went into the freezer for summer smoothies. Light, fast, great price, it's an excellent value overall if you like cherries.
