Decent hardware, not truly unlocked, DO NOT USE ON T-Mobile
1 of 1 found this helpful OK phone, it is rugged and OK overall. Even unlocked it is carrier specific, I am using on T-Mobile (this is an AT&T phone). The phone has AT&T bloatware on it which cannot be removed. It will not receive updates on T-mobile because it was an AT&T phone even unlocked.
I would say I am disappointed in Kyocera. Stay away if you want to use on a network other than what it originally was made for.
I started commenting on some forums, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE UNLESS YOU ARE USING ON AT&T.
Even unlocked it is almost worthless on T-Mobile

Unlocked but not really, with T-Mobile there are no updates because this is an AT&T phone.
2 of 3 found this helpful Unlocked but beware if you are using on another network. It works on T-Mobile but Wifi calling does not work nor will you ever get security updates. Kyocera only sends updates through the carrier so if you are using on T-Mobile, you will never receive any updates and Kyocera does not support. They do honor the warranty but that's it.
I would recommend if you are buying for use on T-Mobile, you look elsewhere.
