Neat little unit, but beware manufacturing errors
On initially testing the unit, smoke poured from the vent holes and the voltmeter stopped working before 10 seconds connection elapsed. When I opened it up I could see that the DPDT switch was incorrectly wired so that only one pole was in service, (no connection to one of the switch travellers), and the parallel switch connections were via thin under-rated pieces of wire so the switch wiring simply overheated to the extent that it de-soldered the voltmeter connection which sprang off. Fortunately I was easily able to re-wire and uprate/correct it. At 8mm O/D the main cables are probably OK for the advertised 100A intermittent rating, but the 125A rating marked on the box is arguably a step too far!

It's a head gasket - it fits - it looks good quality - what more can I say..
