Revitalise & Maintain Your Record Collection in Pristine Condition
I've been researching record cleaning machines for some time and hesitated to invest because there are so many options across a wide range of prices. I did purchase a manual spin clean which isn't bad, but leaves drying marks and is a real hassle doing batches of 5 or 10 records at a time and then waiting 30+ minutes for them to dry.
I was personally recommended the Pro-ject RCM several times and finally took the plunge - what a great machine! It has rejuvenated my record collection: old records that don't appear to have any major scratches but did snap, crackle & pop are like new and ready to play straight off the cleaner. Many record shops will charge 50p or £1 to clean your records with this machine, so if you have only a few hundred records it becomes a no-brainer. You can deep clean old & new records as often as you need and they will sound as good as your equipment can realise.
I've seen some reviews criticise the noise made during cleaning - a small burden in my view when compared to the benefits.
Can't comment on the "FREE Clean IT Stylus Brush" - still haven't received mine.
