Instant hummingbirds
Even though I installed it late in the season, I had hummingbirds feeding within 24 hours.

OK but embossed wiring diagram could be improved
I didn't receive any written instructions with the product, only the wiring diagram stamped on the product itself. The stamped wiring diagram was missing one very important piece of information; which wire colors attach to the plug hot and plug neutral sides. Normal U.S. wiring colors standardize on white is plug neutral and back is plug hot but those connections did not work.
After much frustration and internet searching, I discovered that for this product, red is plug hot and black is plug neutral. My frustration could have been avoided with a bit more information on the stamped wiring diagram. Once that issue was solved, I wired two lamps and both worked perfectly. Otherwise, the controller does what it is supposed to do and is very reasonably priced.
