3rd TV antenna
2 of 2 found this helpful I was not getting good TV reception and I am in the middle of all TV transmission in Los Angeles.
I tried an antenna that was made with "soft" plastic which was ripped off my roof in a 15 to 20 mile an hour wind. It did not get good reception in my attic.
The second TV antenna was a 4 four long standard antenna like the 14 to 18 feet long antennas made before the year 2000. It got better reception but not all the Channels.
This Omni-Directional Amplified antenna surprised me. It came with the small connection wire broken for the amplifier to the antenna body. I had an extra wire from my past dealings which was the same 4 foot size so I used it. At first, I could get only the Channels that I got previously. The next morning, I was able to get 22 more Channels which I wanted. I guess the antenna tuned up my televison over night. Now, I get over 120 Channels which includes all the Spanish, Chinese, Vietnese, and other non English stations. Receptions is very good. I do use a second amplifier in my den just prior to the TV because it is 50 feet from the antenna to my TV. Reception is better than it ever has been.

Night School with Rachel Ward
Very good movie, but it needed subtitles. I have problems understanding people and rely on subtitles to enjoy a movie.
