Little grains of magic
4 of 4 found this helpful I am truly impressed with these kefir grains. They set to work almost immediately and I had my first batch of kefir inside 48 hours. First 2 batches made with organic, whole cow's milk were creamier than I expected and tasted lovely. Tried it on its own and then added a little maple syrup - on balance I probably prefer it without the syrup. 3rd batch made with coconut milk, that turned out more of a liquid than yogurt consistency. Still tasted lovely but my 4th batch, fermenting as I write, is organic whole milk and I'll be sticking with that.
Prior to buying these grains I tried one of those kits with the dehydrated powder, didn't work at all and I'm so glad I bought these real grains.
Excellent value for money, great taste and fabulously healthy...great stuff!
