V-7000 Swissmar Mandoline
I have only used this Mandoline twice since I got it. It was a little bit difficult to set up and use because of the sparse documentation, but it boils down to a simple tool that does it's thing of slicing and dicing veggies, etc.
The two extra cutting boards are held in a bulky device that fits under the Mandoline, It seems like it has to be removed each time you use the thing? And, it took a while to figure out how to store the boards in this "container".
The safety guard fits into this piece for storage. My wife has refused to use this tool even with the safety guard because of fear that she might cut herself! The blades are extremely sharp, and one could get a bad injury if the safety guard is not used properly.
Swissmar has some videos that should be viewed (and re-viewed) to help in using this gadget.
As far as durability, the device feels sturdy enough even though it is quite "plasticky".
The green model I purchased was cheaper than the other colors, probably because of the unusual shade of green plastic on it? It is easy to clean, and store after use.
Would I recommend it? Yes!
I think this item will be just fine for the slicing and dicing I want to do for making Asian stir fry dishes.

Soundcore 2
I have several of the original Soundcore speakers. I am using the SC2 in place of one of these in my bathrom to listen to TV audio. I can honestly say that I can not detect any difference with the audio from the SC2 and the other SC speakers- both are quite good and more than adequate for what I now use the SC2 for!
