Nice product

I really like it but I am having trouble with the depth read out. Don't know if the transponder is bad or the unit. I can be in 200 feet of water sitting and all of a sudden it goes to 2 feet and stays there for a while and goes back. So I don't know if you can help me or do I have to go to hummingbird to get this fixed. Jim
