Abysmal remake of a comedy classic. UNWATCHABLE
As a fan of Tom Hanks ,I wanted to see how he tackled an Ealing Studio`s classic comedy masterpiece. Couldn`t get past the first ten minutes. Appaling characters ,who couldn`t engage in a moments dialogue without vile expletives.
Truly AWFUL ! Whoever perpetrated this monstrocity needs lynching

Cliched and somewhat unbelievable storyline
Sad to see one of my favourite actors involved in such dire cliched portrayals of the war of independence . Only wish todays AmeriKa would show the same resilience in the face of the emerging Fourth Reich
