Priced appropriately
This guitar looks pretty, even though it arrived with a chip / crack in the finish. The neck was totally raw, wavy wood, warped, and with slightly uneven frets. A tool was included to help with the warp, but this neck might be frustrating to a beginner (I removed it, straightened it, dressed the frets, finished the wood and metal, so now usable. It was very uncomfortable as received). Electronics are cheap, hardware cheap, and pickups showed 1.6 DCR (lowest I've ever seen, but a good place for them to save money - build 4 pickups for the price of one off a normal guitar). It does play, though not with the traditional "quack" and tone of better models like this. As they say - you get what you pay for, and at this price I suppose it is what should be expected (that's why I gave it three stars instead of one - totally the price). It is light and has a comfortable body, as is typical for this style. Good to keep out on a guitar stand to encourage practicing without worrying about knocking it over or damaging it like you might a good guitar.

works, but not reliably
Easy to set up and use, but most of the time it hangs up or the buttons don't work at all. I have no clue what is wrong, but I bought it to replace another one that had suddenly come down with the same problems (before that it had worked perfectly). I'm guessing something in their update has screwed the unit up to the point of only working sporadically / inconsistently anymore. (And yes, it has fresh batteries that were checked with a volt meter prior to installation)

turbotax deluxe
good at updating math when changes are made, but doesn't explain things well. Difficult to navigate and find what you need / want. State return was even worse. Don't take everything at face value. Some of it is wrong.
