No on par with my original Dyson, upright
Almost every aspect of this vacuum is compromised. It does nothing well nor better than my other two uprights. Feels very cheap, not lightweight in a good way. emptying this is a disaster. The only thing I like about it is the retractable power cord. Still probably better than most items available on a retail shelf under $100.

Feels like a brick. Very solid, heavy little thing. Speedy. Mac OS drive out of the box.
Using this on Mac Mini Late 2012 i7 El Capitan OS with Samsung EVO 840 internal and 16 GB RAM. (for the record)
Black magic disk speed test shows max write of 170 Megabytes per second and 190 Megabytes per second read. This is standard, out of the box configuration. Standard configuration for mine was RAID 0. The OS Finder shows one (1) drive. The software that comes with it runs as expected. The software is called WD Drive Utilities. And is version 2dot0dot2dot18. It offers status check, quick drive test, complete drive test, RAID management, Formatting functions. I have not changed any configuration at all on this drive. Not even the name as it appeared out of the box. The thunderbolt cord wraps around the longest perimeter of the enclosure. As such, I find it mostly too short for my position. I think great speeds for price is what lured me to try/buy this device.

Light, sounds good. Some nits
I have used many headsets. This one sounds very good to my ears. It feels well constructed. However, the material on the ear pads is oddly a bit noisy. By that I mean, as it can move or shift as it sits on your ears (not encompassing the ear), the material can make noise in the movement across the ear. I have some others that are a different material and seem quieter as they can shift on the ear/skin. It's hard to explain, but they do make some noise. Not a deal breaker, though.
