  i bought a jointer that was advertised as a 7" grizzly, turned out the be a 6" harbor freight model. Not only is that a huge difference but the price I paid for the used "grizzly" is what the harbor freight units cost when new. The ad also said it was unused but there was chips in the blade and wood chips under the head. if I had not already paid I wouldn't have taken it item. when I got home I put it on FB market and sold it for a loss.

  I made a mistake on the manufacturer as we buy most of our machines at Grizzly. I would have refunded the purchase price if he would have asked, but he said he would take it anyway.
