MAKITA DML806 18V LXT Li-Ion CORDLESS LED FLASHLIGHT TORCH BODY ONLY WORK LIGHT
11 Sep, 2019
It's OK but should be better for the price or lower in price
The light from the LED cylinder is great. The option of 360 or 180 degrees is very useful. The torch on the end is all near useless. Using a single LED its fairly weak and does not penetrate very far. lucky for me it's not what I bought it for, but for the price I would've expected better. The body is solid enough, but the cylinder tube for a LED feels a bit fragile. Only time will tell if it stands up to the demands for work. The run time off the 180 degree light is great. I'm getting almost 2 full shifts from a 4ah battery.

Makita DC18RD 18V Twin Port Battery Charger
04 Sep, 2019
Like the dual option but let down by penny pinching on the plug.
Major con is the plastic earth pin on the UK plug. I bought four of these before one arrived with the plug in one piece so I could use the charger out the box. If it can't arrive intact in the post, what's it going to be like after a few weeks bouncing round the back of the van? This is ridiculous penny pinching from Makita. The charger itself is great and I like the addition of the USB port for charging phones etc. And yes I could cut the flex and fit my own plug, but I shouldn't have to with a brand new item.
