Decent car, a few problems.
I got a 1994 Cavalier from my sister several years ago. It is a 2.2L 4Cyl Automatic. It ran good for the first several months, then i started to notice it would jerk and stall after running it a while and warming up the engine. It was a real problem and very annoying. I noticed it acted as if the Tranny was not down shifting when i tried to stop. In order to get it to go again i would have to stop, turn off the ignition, put it in park and wait 15 or 20 seconds and restart and it would be ok....until the nest time i stopped! I eventually found the answer to this problem online at www.v6z24.com/howto/tcc Apparently there is a solenoid on the transmission that locks the car in high gear when at high speeds for a period of time in order to get better emissions. Its basicly an emission control and when it goes bad it stays lock "on" and the car will not be able to get out of high gear when you stop. AHH HAAAA!! I got the part for $20.00 from a local Parts store and put it in myself in about a half hour. Pretty easy when you follow the guide on v6z24.com.I recently had to replace the Heater Core which cracked and the thermostat as well. The car has been fairly reliable otherwise. It has some light rust under the passenger door, which is common for these cars, and the trunk sometimes leaks? I still havent figured that one out. It seems to get moisture from the trunk floor.Nothing major. The engine also has had an annoying "ticking" sound when running that i believe is a valve or rocker arm.Overall though it was worth the price i paid. A reliable car.

It really was an illusion.....
Hmmm, Edward Norton as an illusionist....i guess i buy that. Im a fan of his work, and I feel that his performance here is up there with some of his best work. As for the movie.....I thought it was a good solid picture with a good sense of "illusion" the time in which the movie is set works well and was pulled off with nice visuals of the streets and buildings of the time. The Acting support of the other two actors was good as well. The whole plot is set around an illusionist who performs incredible illusions in front of a stunned crowd. Norton (the illusionist)has an interesting back story that is explained involving a childhood love(Jessica Biel) who returns to him and their relationship which never was allowed as teens, picks back up and trouble insues. The Movie was good, however i felt it lacked at the ending. The "suprising" ending was somehow un-climactic since they show you all the Amazing Illusions and make you believe they are real. Overall, its a good movie.
