A little rough around the edges
The first thing I noticed was the lack of intermediate clicks on the f-stop ring so it's not possible to shoot at f/2.2 or 2.4 for instance.
It's not very sharp at f/1.2 but for my purposes (still lifes) that doesn't matter - images shot at 1.2 and 1.4 still have a nice quality and excellent bokeh.
If you want silky smoothness when focusing you'll just have to pay more .
At this price point, however, I'd say this lens is an excellent value

Great for still life photography
Stays on my camera most of the time. Gives beautiful results wide open.
