"Just as good in half the time."
Have 2 8240XL's that I purchased after having tried the entry level Norelco's, having come off Remington's foil self-cleaning shavers. The Remington and Braun foil shavers are too noisy compared to Norelcos. They're also more expensive to maintain, with their self-cleaning supplies. The Norelco's get just as clean much faster by running them under hot water without all the noise, cost and greasy residue build-up left under the self-cleaning stand over time.
My new 9300 (purchased at less cost without the self-cleaning attachment) shaves as good or better than my treasured 8240XL's in half the time. And on e-bay, I saved $150. I also like the 3 shaving speeds. I use the fastest speed to achieve the same or better shave as my 8240XL's in half the time. Tempus fugits.

Man-Oh-Man-Oh-Man
1 of 1 found this helpful Best carpet cleaning machine I’ve ever had, and I’ve had 3 other Bissells. And, to improve on that, it’s manufacturer refurbished, so it saved me money, too. I highly recommend “manufacturer” refurbished.
This Bissell isn’t big and clunky feeling like the previous one. It’s also easier to fill, empty, push-and-pull, etc. I also used a household-cleaner-based cleaning solution of Windex, water, and a dab of Downey fabric softener. Worked like a charm, even on a days-old coffee stain.
I have (or have had) a ProHeat 2X (years old), a SpotBot Pet Robotic Portable Carpet Cleaner, a SpotClean Pro Power Pack Portable Carpet Cleaner, and a Bolt Ion XRT 2 in 1 Cordless Vacuum (also the best vacuum I’ve ever had [it’s cordless]). I don’t recommend the SpotBot nor the SpotClean portables.

Best Norelco shaver ever made.
2 of 2 found this helpful I ordered the 8241/18, because it is a far better shave than my latest-state-of-the-art 9300 (which broke beyond repair) and the replacement 9800 top-of-the-line Norelco. (I’m not the only one who thinks the 8000 series shaves better; I’ve seen the same comment on other reviews.
As for the seller, great job. The “used” shaver I got (Norelco doesn’t sell the 8241/18 anymore) had new Norelco blades and was clean as a whistle (sanitized).
