Dependable tyres
I've not used Hifli before, and they were one of only two brands available in that size. My car is a flyweight at 650kg, and these tyres were 10mm wider than the standard OEM spec rubber. They offer good grip and improved the handling over the previous 155 width rubber, with no discernible noise increase. I have noticed no reduction in fuel economy despite the apparently lower fuel rating of E, compared to the previous tyres' C rating. Wet and dry grip is predictable and steady, and they represent excellent value for money. Wear rate is higher that other tyres I've had, but this is likely down to both higher rolling resistance from the wider rubber and the fact that they are only 14" wheels so turn more per mile than larger diameter tyres. Overall very happy and would recommend them for your small car.
