Outstanding whodunnit
The best detective novel to come from America in the mid-1980s. Smashing plot, rounded characters, story twists unforeseeable but believable.
[ What on earth is that bit in red about "no swearing" appearing in this box? I am not at all clear what parts of this review come anywhere near swearing. ]
