Having seen another exhilarating live Idlewild performance it was unthinkable to continue without an album which contains a number of their live favourites. Opener 'Little Discourage' plunges you straight into their poetic alternative rock genius. A journey through tracks such as 'These Wooden Ideas' and the beautifully understated 'Roseability' are a joy which culminate in a gently haunting climax: 'The Bronze Medal.' Idlewild make the contrast between loud and quiet in to an artform, and 100 Broken windows does not disappoint.
