Short-term home only, get something bigger for permanent bird housing!
Purchased as a home for a young budgie whilst taming.
I wouldn't keep a budgie in here full time. It's too small. Our budgie will be going back into the larger aviary style cage as soon as she is tame.
PROS: does assemble easily, looks sleek and modern
seed and water dishes easy to change without disturbing bird
CONS: too small for full-time living - you'd need to let your budgie out daily (not possible in our case as we have cats)
so-called 'easy clean base' not easy to clean at all. Yes it unclips easily, and you can just lift off the top of the cage with bird in situ... but so many ridges and bumps it's actually really hard to clean into all the corners. Can't even line it easily with newspaper etc as it is shaped to support seed dishes.
This cage will certainly do the job we bought it for ie/ a short term home for taming but not convinced it would make a good long-term home unless you were planning to have your budgie out the cage most of the time
