Brilliant

I have arthritis in my right hand so was looking for something I could manage mostly one handed and left handed. This is great, the steering initially felt quite heavy as the battery pack sits low down on the unit, but once I got going with it I realised the steer ability made it really easy. I can carry it upstairs one handed, and the lift away unit is great for doing the stairs. I use it everyday as its so easy, it really is press and go, and don't bother sweeping up in between hovers anymore I just run this round the kitchen after meals. I have a mixture of hard floors and carpets it is equally good on both. As long as you keep the spare battery fully charged it's no problem when the battery runs out and is still quicker and easier to change than unplugging and plugging in all the time with a corded Hoover and no running the flex over once you've untangled your feet from it. I don't have pets in the house so can't comment on how it would perform on pet hair, but I do have 3 grandchildren who regularly run inside complete with muddy boots from the beach and the horses field. This copes perfectly well with sand dust and mud. Emptying and cleaning the canister is simple quick and easy . The suction system isn't like a corded Hoover so doing the suction on your hand test is mis leading, I did this when I got it and thought I'd made a mistake as the suction didn't feel that strong on my hand, but once I started using it I realised that it does work perfectly well.

Flimsy

This certainly couldn’t be leaned on whilst walking, very flimsy, tip bent and even when straightened not very durable. Plus points- It is dome shaped, and would keep water off your head so in that respect it’s ok.
