Essential reading for cerebral cyclists
I enjoyed this book, particularly the parts that explored how cycling connects you with your younger, less inhibited self and the sense of freedom you get from going under your own steam. Also very interesting how the author interweaves that with the invention and development of the bicycle and the impact on communities and culture. That you get to learn more about Einstein along the way is an added bonus. Initially I thought it an intriguing, if somewhat contrived premise, occasionally I felt the author loses his thread a bit, BUT if you know the joy of getting around on 2 wheels or know someone who does, this makes for a compelling and enjoyable read.

Purrfect for old, cold cats
I wasn't sure from the picture whether this would be worth buying. As you know, cats are fickle creatures. What looks lovely to us they turn up their nose at and show you their balloon knot as they flounce off. Well need not have been worried. My 22 year old cat is skinny and arthritic in her geriatric years and feels the cold. This bed is amazing. She absolutely loves it. I agree with other reviewers, your cat might need help getting in if they're a bit doddery. But I help her snuggle under the 'rim' and she's cosy, warm and comfortable very quickly. Definitely worth it for smaller cats. Only wish they made them in my size.

Rubbish
Really disappointed with this- the main reason is the instructions manual tells you to insert the horizontal poles through the hooks then add the white plastic caps to prevent movement. Yep, that makes sense- except when the caps have been fitted prior to purchase which prevents them being inserted into the hooks. There's no way to get the caps off (and boy I tried) so it makes it totally useless. Really disappointed.
