The Harmony Smart remote is Almost as Good as the Elite
I have the smaller Harmony smart Remote with the HUB as well. I like the Elite but it is heavier than the small remote and the battery life is around 3 days outside the cradle. The smart remote lasts for over 6 months. I like that the Elite is back-lit but again it is much heavier than the small remote. I appreciate both Harmony remotes and recommend the HUB over standard IR. If you are on the fence the biggest advantage of the Elite are the backlit buttons. For most people the standard small remote costs so much less than the Elite on E bay and will get the job done. I will keep both my smart and Elite Remotes but they do compliment each other as when you "Watch TV" both remotes go to that setting. I am a satisfied buyer.
