Star Wars Battlefront II - Windows - Digital Download
3 of 9 found this helpful - This game and before have always revolves around The Last of Jedi and previous episode of Star Wars, no if or but.
- Before doing anything, you are forced to choose a side. This is disappointing. What if people don't want to be Imperial and have a change of heart to join the Resistance? This doesn't look like it is going to happen. This might have been over-look, but some gamer generally want to play both side of the fence. I chose Imperial only because I have participate in Guild games that revolve around Imperial culture in Star Wars theme. Would you blame me for choosing Imperial?
- In some point of the game, NPC character killed unnaturally clipped through fence cover. This is a a major sin. Major game AAA companies should know better than to fix this. This is also 2017 and approaching 2018. Get your game programmers together because you aren't getting out of this one easily.
- Graphic texture is unoptimized in Ultra setting. This was the same thing happen in Battlefield 2142. In Battlefield 3 and 4, A-OK.
- EA have promised to remove Micro-Transaction. But, they didn't completely remove Buy Crystal option which make up part of the Micro-Transaction system. Are you serious?!
- This game copied Blizzard's product OverWatch (leading to point about the micro-transaction system). Overwatch at that time was priced at $70. BF2 was originally priced at $70. I purchased this for $40 without any problem with Best Buy retail and EA that gave the license to me. And, to honest, it is worth $40 or less. I was determine to purchase it at $50. After playing BF2, I don't agree with $50. Albeit; you are not only purchasing the multiplayer experience but single player campaign mission. The campaign follows Battlefield's style and drama.
- Single Player campaign is repetitive and too unrealistic. If you played Battlefield 2-3, you basically can beat Battlefront 2.
- If you are new, get used to not getting enough elimination in your score. Your equipment is sub-par compared to those that have been grinding or pre-purchase Premium / micro-transaction.
- Don't see anti-cheat or it may have been built in. This is important because should hacking occurs can leads to de-valuation and crash of EA hosted server.
- Couldn't find a private server. 100% probably EA hosted server.
- Update: I finished Single Player campaign missions. And, all I have to says is..... good ridden! Multiplayer game will remains a challenge for me.
